Out & About in San Diego for the Holidays
While most of San Diego’s many organized yuletide happenings are in the rear-view mirror, there’s plenty of New Year’s revelry ahead. That most definitely includes the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade, the nation’s very biggest balloon parade, which begins at 10 AM on December 31st and preludes this year’s Holiday Bowl game contested at SDCCU Stadium by the Utah Utes and Northwestern Wildcats.
With your Sofia guest room or suite, you’ll also have easy access to New Year’s Eve parties at the many clubs of the Gaslamp Quarter and elsewhere in Downtown San Diego—not to mention the multiple holiday cruises going down out on the bay.
