18th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival March 10-20, 2011

San Diego’s proximity to Mexico makes it a natural venue for this prestigious film festival, focusing on works by Latinos or about the Latino experience. Held at the UltraStar Cinemas at Hazard Center in Mission Valley.

The film festival was established 16 years ago as a student film festival. Since that time, it has developed into one of the larger and well-respected Latino film festivals in the country. Over 175,000 people have attended during the past few years and over 2,000 films/videos from across Latin America and the United States have been screened.
